We are in Atlanta and need a chemist!

JOB OPENING

35 year old micronutrient manufacturer in Conyers seeks full-time lab
chemist.  Must have degree in chemistry and several years of quality
control, quality assurance experience is similar lab environment.  Duties
will be limited but subject to expansion, specifically, here is what will
be required:

1.  Demonstrated proficiency with running powder samples of finished
product through a Buck Scientific model 200 Atomic Absorption
Spectrophotometer and a UV- VIZ.

2. Samples will be run for determining elemental percentages of Boron,
Calcium, Copper, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Zinc and much
smaller %s of Lead, Cadmium, Chromium, Arsenic and Barium.

3. Must have good experiener unning these types of sample accurately.  You
will be tested if chosen for a follow up interview with a generic sample.
A Once a Month sample will be sent to independent labs to verify lab
chemist accuracy.

4. Chemist will also interface once per quarter with Enironmental
consultants to insure compliance with storm water permit and air permit.
Two EPD forms will have to be completed annually as part of the job.

5. Starting pay is $45-50K depending on experience.  Vacation and medical
benefits begin after six months on the job.
